Heartbreaking loss for the Tigers over the weekend. Even worse when you were watching it in person on the hill. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. They did look pretty good though, uni wise. They brought out the new matte black & silver helmets debuted earlier in the season, along with the anthracite top, and black pants. Pretty solid look overall. Check out the picture below.

Week 8 (Mizzou 36 - Florida 17)
Mizzou went with their awesome gold tops this past weekend while cruising past Florida to stay unbeaten on the year, and earn a top five BCS ranking. This is exactly what the team needed after a disappointing season last year. As I've said before, this is my favorite look from the Tigers. The gold jerseys are perfect, and the matte black helmet fits really well with the whole uniform. All in all, it was a great looking match-up for both teams.

I Love Gooooold
Gold Rush this weekend at home against Florida. This was my favorite look for the Tigers last year, and continues to be this year. Matte black helmet with gold tiger logo, gold jerseys, and black pants. As you can see, the Pinktober bug has bitten the team as well. This was taken directly from www.garypinkel.com, describing the pink accessories:
One thing I'd like to see them do eventually is wear the gold pants with this set to make it a true Gold Rush. I've never seen that mocked up before, but I have a feeling it would look pretty awesome. Either that, or the players would look like giant mustard bottles on the field. Either way, make it happen Mizzou.
"The players will be wearing pink Nike socks, gloves and sweatbands. On the sweatbands, Nike has stitched the words “dedicated to” in order to take the tribute one step further. This is where players can write the name of a loved one. There is also a pink ribbon, the international symbol of breast cancer awareness, on the back of the helmet."

Week 7 (Mizzou 41 - Georgia 26)
Big upset win last weekend in Athens that showed how talented this Mizzou team actually is. As shown earlier last week, the gameday uniform was black/white/black, and it didn't look too bad in action. Definitely a lot better than the mock up showed. Check out the pictures below.

Gameday Uniform 10/12
Mizzou will stay pretty vanilla on the road again this weekend at Georgia. The uniform is a mirror image of last weekend's, but black pants are taking the place of the anthracite. I don't think the black pants mesh well with this set since the jersey is primarily white and anthracite, but it's a moot point if they continue to play well on the field. Huge game for the Tigers this weekend.

Week 6 (Mizzou 51 - Vanderbilt 28)
A little late getting to the post from last weekend so I apologize. Not much to report on however, as Mizzou went with one of their standard road looks in the black/white/anthracite combo. Pretty decent look, but the away jerseys remain my least favorite part of the new identity introduced last season. Game pics below.
