What a game! This game is why you watch college football. Two high powered offensive teams going at it for 60 minutes, and it comes down to the last 2 minutes of the game. Congrats on the great season Tigers!
Of course they had to look their best as well, and this really delivered. I've said it multiple times and I'll say it again...this is my favorite look from the Tigers. I liked the glossy shell with the oversized tiger head, but I still like the matte look a little better.
Well, this will do it for the Mizzou UniTracker for the 2013-2014 season. Thank you to everyone who came and checked it out week after week. If any uni developments come about, I'll be sure to post the info here and also on both of my Twitters (@Mizzou_Unis and @TheModernUni). Here's to an even better '14-'15!

Week 15 (Mizzou 42 - Auburn 59)
This sure was a great looking game. My wish finally came true with Mizzou wearing their gold pants on the road again, for the first time with the new uniforms. I absolutely loved this look. Before the preview image came out last week showing the uniform put together, I wasn't sure how the pants would look with our away jerseys since there is very minimal gold on those. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it looked together. And to top it off, the standard oval tiger helmet looked great with a matte finish. I hope we wear this again next year.

SEC Championship Game Uniform
I absolutely love this look. I've been wanting them to wear the gold pants on the road since they unveiled the new uniforms last year and they finally came through. I can't be for sure, but I believe the last time Mizzou wore the gold pants on the road was in the 2010 Insight Bowl against Iowa, as seen below.
The Tigers will also be wearing a new helmet style. They have taken their standard primary helmet, and made it matte black. Not a bad look, but the glossy black part in the middle of the stripes when looking from the front bothers me. Since the whole helmet stripe is one big decal it's understandable, and just a minor gripe on an otherwise solid look. Check out the helmet below.
I can't wait to see these in action Saturday. Hopefully, we can celebrate being SEC Champions as well.

Week 14 (Texas A&M 21 - Mizzou 28)
Mizzou took care of business against the Aggies last Saturday night to secure their spot in the SEC Championship Game this coming weekend. As is the case each year, the last game of the season was Senior Night, as well as the annual Blackout Game. For the first time since the new uniforms were unveiled, Mizzou wore their alternate helmet with the black jerseys and black pants. I can't get enough of this look. All season long, there really hasn't been a bad look for the Tigers.
So, with last weekend out of the way, let's talk about the big game. According to Mizzou beat writer Dave Matter (@Dave_Matter), the fans will be able to vote on the team's uniform combination on Gary Pinkel's website during the days leading up to the game. As all fan votes are, this could either be a blessing or a curse. With Auburn being the designated home team, they will surely wear their home blues. My hope for this game is that we're able to go color on color with the Tigers from down South and wear our gold alternates with the black pants. Chances are though, that won't happen.
My gut instinct tells me the fans will vote on the black and silver alternate helmet, standard away jersey, and black pants. Still wouldn't be a bad looking game, but it wouldn't be my first choice. What do you think the fans will vote on?
And lastly, I have to share this article about the re-brand that happened across all athletics last year. Really interesting stuff. It's always good to see what goes on behind the scenes, and how much thought is put into the process. Check out the story here: http://www.midmotoday.com/rebranded-mizzou-science-behind-mizzoufootball-uniforms/
With all that said, let's go win a Championship this Saturday. MIZ!

Week 13 (Mizzou 24 - Ole Miss 10)
After their second bye week of the season, Mizzou came out needing a win to keep their hopes for an SEC East Championship alive. They took care of business in Oxford wearing their black helmets, white jerseys, and white pants. This weekend is Senior Night in Columbia, as well as the annual Blackout Game, so I wouldn't expect Mizzou to wear anything but their standard black/black/black set. Pictures from last weekend are below.

Week 11 (Mizzou 48 - Kentucky 17)
Another road win for Mizzou taking it to Kentucky. They went with their standard road uniforms again, so nothing new to report. Pictures below.

Week 10 (Tennessee 3 - Mizzou 31)
Great looking match up last weekend between the Volunteers and Tigers. I love these looks from both teams. This needs to be Mizzou's standard home look, with the all black and alternate gold tops reserved for minimal use.
